Its really hard to give a definite answer to that, most hospitals require the baby to be a certain weight (mine is 4lbs) and be able to eat on there own and breath on there own, I assume the injections they are giving you is to mature the babys lungs faster so breathing wont be such an issue, I really wish the best for you and your baby I hope everything goes better for you and you feel better soon.

If the baby is healthy and grew properly during your pregnancy he should be a good size at 34-35 weeks. 4 1/2 5 lbs
If this is the case he will have to go to the Neo Natal by law but, he'll just be there, no ventilators, no crazy tubes, plus he'll look huge next to the really premature babies which is sad but, will make you feel better.
Don't worry just think a little baby is so sweet to hold as they all are but, he will be a premie.
Go shopping for smaller clothes and don't worry.

I don't think that your baby will come home after a few days. They probably have to make sure he is okay to breath and eat on his own before he can come home. My son had to stay in the hospital for 2 months. I also had steriods. It can be sad to leave your baby there. But it is what's best for the baby and that is what is most important!

As your doctor no doubt told you, the steroids are to improve your baby's lung function and hopefully prevent the need for a ventilator. When your baby comes home depends on how successful the steroid treatments are, his/her weight, and ability to nurse or take a bottle. Because premature babies are at a higher risk for infection, you should make an effort to breastfeed or at least pump and bottle feed, assuming you're permitted to breastfeed while on medication for your liver disorder. The early colostrum in your breastmilk provides antibodies and is extremely beneficial for your baby. Definitely talk to your doctor to find out what the criteria are for your baby to be able to come home. Good luck with your delivery and your new baby!

I don't think anyone on here can tell you for sure. I don't even think your doctor can tell you until your baby is born. You just have to wait and see how he/she is doing. My guess is the hospital will want to monitor him/her for a least a few days to make sure everything is ok and to be sure all organs are working properly. I know it's hard to leave the hospital without your baby. But, it's for the best interest of your baby

Please work on your spelling! I hope you're not a sixth grade mom lol! And no, just leave it in the ventillator. It is best for your baby. It may seem strange but leaving it there is best for its health. Don't harm it because of your personal goals.

think about it when it comes don't stress to much, but i think it will depened on how well the baby is breathing and how it breathes its possible that your baby may be fine and you'll be able to take it home.
