If you have a very keen sight and experience, facial features tell quite a bit, coupled with a strong psychological mind, a few sentences will reveal his/her mentality level.
Most of you out there won't understand this.
If ever you encounter a casanova or conman then only you'll understand what I mean here.
How easy they can manipulate you in such a short space of time.

No because as the old saying goes looks are deceiving!!!!!A person may look nice and beautiful on the outside but deep in their soul{inner beauty} which is what's really important is probably all nasty and ugly!!!!!!I usually find that good looking guys or girls are usually very mean and rude to others because they thinks they are better then everyone else and the thinks their s-h-i-t don't stink............but i got news for them it does and it's rotten just like their personalities!!!!!I often find that a person that don't have outter beauty is the sweetest person,they are so nice and considerate of other people and their feelings!!!!!!So in my judgement NO you can not tell what a person is like just by looking at time...............as another famous saying goes you can't judge a book by it's cover and that is soooooooooo true!!!!!

No, not just by a picture. I can usually tell within an hour of meeting someone if i'd like them. You can never tell from avatars how old they are (well them cartoon ones). I would prefer it if on everyones questions it said how old they were, just so you know how to answer the question.

some people you can see a bitter and spiteful look on their face if they are always frowning or scowling it seesm to permanently wrinkle them. I used to think I was a great judge of character until I went travelling around the world and was forced together with people that I would usually avoid like the plague and found out that I was wrong and most of them were fantastic people. and no the avatars project someones fantasy about themselves. you don't see any fat ugly avatars do you!!

NO! There is an old saying, you can't tell a book by its cover, this is so true to life. it is not until you open that book and thumb through the pages that you realise just what it is about.
Can you fall in love at first site? now that is different, there seams to be some chemical bond and there have been many recorded incidents of people falling in love on first site (Note they haven't all been heterosexual)

Not at all.....

I like all people... have likeed girls by first sight... being attracted to them by looks. When you get to know them... some of them are nowhere near nice at all. (I am not saying this to all girls... but a few have been like this).

So answering your question.... dont judge a book by its cover.

As for avatars... what type of person do you think I am by looking at my avatar? I say no more....

Avatars are lame, sorry, but I don't need to hide behind a prefabricated image that does not represent me in any way

No, because when you look at them all you are seeing is their looks. I think you need to talk to them because that way you get to find out about their personality & their opinions
