I purchased a bunch of kids books at a sale, for my daughter to use in her pre-school class, but it worries me that what if they came from a drug house or something, Is there anything I can do to make sure they are clean, my girlfriend says I am being silly, but you never know anymore,

You are being silly. If you feel the need, you could take an antibacterial wipe (NOT bleach, that would ruin it) to the covers of them, but much more than that wold ruin the books completely.

haha! this is hilarious. i use drugs and I dont' see why anyone would ever store drugs in a kids book or use a kids books to do drugs. if you are getting ideas from news stories where they find hidden drugs in boxes of holiday cards or something similar its only because the manufacturers of the drugs hid them there as a disguise so they can ship them. no one really keeps drugs in books from home. you must be paranoid for a reason!

i have never heard of something like that happening but I guess you are right, you can't be to sure now-a-days. I guess the only way to really know is to take them to a lab to have them checked, if you can even do that I don't know...

Maybe you should haven't bought them. I don't think that you can wash a book. Maybe you could spray something on them.
