From time to time I come across a very very fine, pale and abnormally long strand of hair growing from my chest or back. Other friends have said they get them too. Any medical people out there have an explanation?

my g/f says they are triffids they will take over your body and destroy the world, or they could be hairs nothing to worry about.

Not to scare you or anything, it sounds harmless, but do check this out - There was a documentary on morgellons recently and here's the link to read up about it. More likely than not what you have is pretty harmless.

The medical term is Hairus Finus. It's hair.

dont worry there not abnormal my bf gets the odd hair on his neck or chest but i just pull them out whislt he aint lookin lol = )
