We don't have nearly the manpower to deport/stop illegal aliens.
I'm not even going to go into a pro or anti-illegal stance.
No matter what you believe on the issue, one thing stands :
Illegals have been unstopped from coming her for the longest time,
there's nothing that could ever stop them.
Seriously, we could NEVER set up enough people to investigate and deport the existing illegals, much less secure thousands of miles of border...... not just that, but thousands of miles of coast as well.
But then again, why am I even replying?
This is an obvious flamebait meant to piss off both gays and those who sympathize with illegal aliens.
Good job, you lose.

I guess this is an interesting way to try to argue that illegal aliens have the "right" to come into our country as they please since I guess technically gays have broken laws that are on the books (ie sodomy and performing homosexual acts, etc.) and not enforced from previous times that reflected our more Puritan attidues/heritage; similar to how illegal aliens have broken our laws by entering our nation without permission (and then often breaking subsequent laws) although these laws have also traditionally been laxly enforced. To begin with, homosexuals are still American citizens and entitled to all the rights and protection that entails while illegal aliens are not citizens and have only very basic rights awarded under our legal system. Furthermore, American society has largely changed their views on homosexuality since the act/lifestyle really only affects those wishing to participate in it and don't affect society in general; illegal immigration however does have a profound impact on our society as a whole. Old laws on the books "criminalizing" homosexuality are not enforced because American society has, as a whole, sanctioned it since it really has no impact on them personally and the laws simply haven't been officially repealed because there is no financial reason to do so. However, the American people overwhelmingly support the enforcement of laws pertaining to illegal immigration because they see only too clearly the economic impact it has on them personally and on the country as a whole. Even if I follow and agree with you that homosexuals are, technically, criminals, how still does that lead one to conclude illegal immigration is still not a crime and, thus, should be allowed?? As the old adage goes, two wrongs don't make a right; especially in this case with two completely separate issues. Once again, nice attempt trying to throw out any ridiculous arguement you can think of in hopes one may stick thereby gaining support for illegal immigration and illegal aliens inside the US, while totally ignoring the core issues of the debate (economic impact, safety/security, cultural, etc.). Arguements trying to gain support for illegal immigration seem to continually go farther out on "periphery" issues like this and away from the original topics of debate because I think pro-illegal supporters have realized the Americans do not support their arguements and I'm also still trying to find any "periphery" arguement that justifies illegal immigration either.

I think illegal immigration needs to be stopped. Whatever you have against gays, I don't see them as a problem nearly as much as having people ripping your stuff off, dealing drugs, and and and...I doubt you'll find gays doing drive-by shootings, starting trouble, dumping garbage wherever they feel like it, living off welfare, that kind of thing....

I can see where you are coming from. However, your question is only going to cause a million answers filled with rage.
Anyway, while I don't think it is by any means "natural" to be gay as long as they leave me alone let them do what they want. Except get married...I couldn't support that.

The problem is, the queers "are" hurting the people. Spreading disease, immorality and the weakening of rules and laws hurt everyone whether you associate with them or not.
The Bible is very clear on this. So don't let them deceive you.

Why? They don't suck up billions in tax paid services. Many of them make high wages. They don't bother me at all. It's their personal choice to love who they want to love and it's not any of my business, nor yours. They are not in this country illegally. Get off the gay bashing craze, it's not anything to get all worked up about.
And they bashing cycle goes on:
blacks vs whites
whites vs blacks
town whites vs rural whites(calling them rednecks)
rural whites vs city whites (as greedy)
hetero vs homo
legal vs illegal
monogamist vs polygamist
christian vs atheist
immigrant vs native
Mexican vs American
north vs south
accents here vs accents there
blond vs brunette
blue eyes vs brown eyes
male vs female
old vs young
rich vs poor
Everyone everywhere falls into one of those categories. Why bash something that is not illegal? Why bash something that does no harm to YOU? Illegal immigration hurts all Americans in the taxes taken from their checks each week. Illegal immigration allows criminals to cross our borders, people harboring dangerous diseases to enter our country to spread those diseases, possible terrorists may be entering across that border undetected. Many other things that are being brought up in this category do not cost us out of our checks each week like the illegal immigration issue and those issues should not even be addressed along with this issue. People need to keep it in perspective.
