Before I met my boyfriend I prayed to God for a long time and finally God sent him to me. He gave me the best time in my life. Then he went back to the States and I planned to visit him this Christmas. We miss each other like crazy and we've been counting the days since the day he left. But today I was told that the America Embassy won't issue me a visa!

Why does God give me a goal in my life and then put obstacles between us? Why?

I try to find the answer long ago, and i found that "YOU WILL HAVE THE MOST DIFFICULT TIME OF DOING SOMETHING YOU WANT AND LOVE". God like to do that way.

1.) It might simply be a test, or used as a period of reflection, for you... where is your focus on life... your boyfriend, or on God? Consider it a time to ensure priorities are where they're supposed to be.

2.) It might be temptation (not done by God), to see whether, out of desperation, you will sin or lose faith.

3.) It might be in your best interests. You do not know what God knows. God might be doing it to keep you, or him, safe. Or maybe to fulfill some greater goal He has, that no one can see at this moment in time.

Let things run its course. When the time is right, God will allow the way for you to be free... and struggling against His will won't get you very far, and may set you back. Relax, and take things one day at a time. You'll see.

Who ever said that God was doing this to you? If you've got these troubles, it sounds like you're dealing with life on earth.

1 Corinthians 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

I am sorry that this has happened.

There will be times when things do not go according to expectations. It is in times like these that our faith can really grow. If it is God's will for the 2 of you to be together, nothing can keep you apart. I have seen that happen many times in my circle of friends, when couples get together after seemingly insurmountable odds. Do keep praying and don't give up.

Someone recently gave me really good advice. He said know God's ways and not just his works.

God Bless!

Obstacles are sometimes God's way of saying "No", othertimes a way for us to persevere. Pray - ask God which is the case, and if it is mearly an obstacle, what steps do you take to overcome it...

God isn't doing anything to you. The US Embassy in your country is.

Perhaps your boyfriend can go back to where you are, and visit you.

If you're sure this man is your God-intended, the obstacles you face are simply those - obstacles. They can be overcome or gone around.
Fast & pray. If you're truely ment to be together, nothing can stop the union.

Not always God that puts the obstacles there but Satan can too. If it is to be, it will be. Just be patient and pray.

Why are you blaming a Divine force for what an embassy is doing? You would do better to resolve this by not looking for scapegoats and look for a solution.

Good luck

Yeah, God is ignoring starving children, old people dying in the heat and the cold, and men being shot in holy wars to block your relationship with some guy.

God didnt do any of this. He didnt give you a goal, and it was the government who wont issue you a visa. Get it straight.
