The "Fat Flush Diet" was written by Ann Louise Gittleman. She asserts that most excess weight is caused by an overworked liver, overburdened with toxic by products from the foods eaten. She postulates that by detoxifying the liver, people can lose weight more quickly and easily. The "fat flush" portion of the diet is the initial detoxifying phase.

The book is "THE FAT FLUSH PLAN". The
first two weeks on this strict plan I dropped 17 lbs.
The primary in it is 8 glasses of cranberry concentrate drink 20 min before every meal and between every meal.
I will say it is strict and complex. I just began it again today for the two week flush.
My feet went back from med to narrow. I lost
about one half a cup size in my bra. You flush fluid and poisonous chemicals out of your system. I went from an 18 back to a 16. Now I am headed for a 14.
But it absolutely requires discipline.
