Ok i've been friends with this guy for 3 years and have only ever met him twice i am also friends with his cousin who i see regulary but I talked to him today and he's just told me that he has a job interview with the armed forces, and im mad. I feel that if he gets this i'll never be friends with him again and although i admit that a part of me likes him i mainly just like him as a friend. I have no problem with him going out with other girls or hooking up with them right in front of me but the idea of him joining this is making me feel angry at him even though its something that he's dreamed of doing for such a long time.I don't want him to joining but i dont feel like i have any right to tell him that what do i do?

OK, well if its the guy you have met a few times let him go, your not interesting enough to visit more often, as for the cousin who you see regularly you might have something there,
as for which one is joining the army please give more info and stop belittling yourself, do get upset even mad if someone you like is hooking up with others even in front of you.
i really think you have your priorities screwed up and you should take a step back from the dating life and re-access it

allow him to do what he wants U said u just love him as a friend , if u were lover I would say that u should tell him how much u care about him and u don't want him to join force

If you do love him even as a friend, try loving him with a unselfish love. He's your friend and you should stand by what he believes and what he wants to do. You should always be supportive as a friend cause as a friend he might need your support. Its his decision and since you're not together i dun think you should affect his decision
