Hello you lovely people, basically me and my partner were to be jetting off at the end of september for 2 weeks in croatia- although we hadn't booked anything- anyway I looked at the weather in croatia today- and its worse than the UK so I cant imagine its going to be fab and hot in september. (unless you know otherwise)
So can anyone give me any ideas of where else to go thats going to be hot, beautiful, not too commercialised, good food, good drink, and culture to soak up.
We don't mind a resort as long as there is plenty to do (the BF gets bored easily)
Have you got any suggestions
OH i forgot- im not too good on planes so dont want a 10 hour flight- 4 at the max lol
Cheers

My 2 mates have just come back from a 3 week holiday round Croatia and the bordering countries and it rained and rained.
Why not try Tenerife, Cyprus, any of the Spanish Isles. You can always find something to do if the weather is nice. Hire a car and drive round the island.
Most of Europe is having the same weather as us so you need to go further afield to guarantee nice conditions. Greece?

The black sea in September isn't great weather its OK but most places start to cool down a lot then, i would suggest that if you want nice weather then the canary's are nice though out the year, gran canaria is nice in a resort called maspalomes it has a nice front with loads of nice places to eat and drink and plenty of designer shops and others. And if you did fancy a big night out playa Del Inglis one of the busy resorts is about 5 euro in a taxi. Or another nice place that time of year is Cyprus still hot and plenty to do and has some really nice hotels protarus i would say is the best resort.

Croatia shouldn't be bad at that time of the year, but it is the end of the holiday season there. Why not try Southern Spain, plenty of places, prices will be down, and the weather is always good, especially here on the Costa Blanca.

Go to Morrocco if you are fairly adventurous. Beautiful country, wonderful food; amazing culture and things to see. Cheap flight to Marrakesh where you can visit the ancient souk and buy all sorts of cool things like saffron and silks. You can take an organised trip from Hotel Ali into the Mergouza dunes (Sahara Desert) and sleep in Berber tents.
From there you can take a cab to Essaouira (pron. Essa wera) which is a beautiful coastal town where you can even go surfing!
Weather will be beautiful this time of year.

Try Competa, costa del sol in the mountains but close enough to malaga and all the beaches, nightlife etc. Beautiful scenery, great food and drink and very romantic going next week and weather is usually good and only 2 hrs fight for your BF Bless

How about somewhere like the Greek Islands or Italy. I love both of these places. You always have culture to soak up in the Greek Islands- last year we stayed in Kos Town and it was lovely. Or in Italy somewhere like Lido di Jesolo would be good because you copuld take a trip to Venice which isn't far, or even Verona.

The Canary Islands are beautiful this time of year, and give you the choice of types of resorts and how quiet you want to be.... I would suggest Lanzarote, with a nice selection of attractions as well as plenty of quiet hidey-holes

I would go to Turkey, its fab. A friend of mine came back from Portugal last night and said it was lashing down there too. So you would be better going a bit further out to get the weather....

Try Sitges spain - 2 hr flight, 28c end september. Tons of great restaurants + pubs. Not a huge clubbing scene (cool gay scene too). Very close to Barcelona (VERY cheap trains = 3euro to barca). Well recommended.

Paganism will be lesser-universal to the international at tremendous, yet maximum absolutely everyone is assembly and interacting on-line, no matter if it truly is besides to or rather of having an section team to affix up with. on the cyber web our presence is plenty better, and that i hit upon it perplexing to believe that we are unknown to everybody who surfs the cyber web with any regularity. I do imagine they ought to easily make a time-honored "Pagan vacation journeys" section; there is this variety of vast quantity of diverse paths lower than the Pagan umbrella you would possibly want to fairly record thousands of gala's. of direction Yahoo communities, very last I checked, did no longer have a Pagan class both, even even with the undeniable fact that I belong to a minimum of 7 communities rather coping with my own particular direction (Hellenismos) that couldn't fairly that tremendous in numbers, and comprehend that there is a ton of different Pagan communities on there. we are adequate of a presence for Yahoo to take be conscious.
