Sort of like Gabby Hayes to John Wayne.

I am a 9 year veteran of the US Marines. I can honestly say I was very happy to see the Australians backing our play. I honestly don’t really know why they did, but I was grateful. If I had to guess as to why they support us, I think it would have to be because of our pacific campaign during WWII. I wouldn’t call it a debt owed to us, but more of a mutual respect given. Thanks Aussies.

Australia and England do get some benefits for being so close to the U.S. The U.S. shares intelligence with these countries that no other country gets including France, Germany and Japan. They get access to spy satellite photos and the ability of mass electronic eavesdropping.

Do you know what went wrong out there on planet earth.
Were they doing things at their own whims and fancy out there with what went wrong on planet earth?

It sometimes feels that way. I'd just like to see Australia say 'No Thanks' next time the US Government asks us along for another war. Let them have their own wars, I don't know why we always have to go along.
