NO the dinosaurs did not go to heaven. Many religions today don't even believe in a prehistoric world, as a Christian, I too one time thought this world was only 6000 yrs. old, but after studying the scriptures, I began to see things different. If you want to study scriptures & sometimes read between the lines to make a picture, & what I mean about reading between the lines is that just one word that we have many times read, but have never really stop to think of what it is actually saying. Now I think many Christians believe in the Flood, Go to Genesis Chapter 9, now I am only trying to answer your question by scriptures. We see after the flood, God told Noah what? Chapter 9:1 and God blessed Noah & his sons, & said unto them, be fruitful, & multiply, & Replenish the earth, why would God tell them to replenish the earth, because God destroyed Mankind in the flood. Now the word REPLENISH Means to fill up once again. Now turn back to Genesis 1:28 Speaking to Adam & Eve, And God blessed them & God said unto them, Be fruitful, & multiply & REPLENISH the earth & subdue it, & have dominion over the fish of the sea & over the fowl of the air & over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. So why would God tell Adam & Eve to REPLINISH THE EARTH AGAIN or to FILL UP THE EARTH AGAIN, if there was not life ever on this planet before Adam & Eve time. That prehistoric world was to judge the angelic beings & animal kingdom back before The SONS & Daughters of God was Created, Not the angels that was already cast out of heaven with satan, Because at the beginning of the prehistoric time, Satan & all the fallen angels that God himself cast out of heaven happen before the prehistoric time, those angels that did not sin against God was here during the prehistoric time, being tested, until finally as satan was allow to even test the prehistoric life & angels, & as the prehistoric animals began to kill each other, & God seen as time went on, that how the prehistoric kingdom was even tested & Judged, that God just created a Great ICE AGE to destroy the prehistoric life, & yes that also included the cave man, But one thing about the cave man, They WERE NOT SONS OF GOD, they did NOT have a soul. Now I know this teaching is very hard for Christainanity to accept, but study the Bible, it has all the answers. I bet you never thought you would hear a teaching like this from a Christian, REMEMBER ONE WORD CAN change the whole thought of a subject, & this one word here is the same that was to Noah is also the same to Adam & Eve, REPLINISH, or to fill the earth up again, But this time not with cave man or cave woman nor prehistoric life, but with SONS & DAUGHTERS OF GOD & that of smaller animals. So I can see in my mind, God just took this planet away from the sun far enough to cause a ice age that lasted for many millions of years. And as God gradually begin to bring this earth back into a relationship with the sun to begin to warm things up again for what is known as mankind today. The prehistoric teaching does not take away from mans time period of 6000 years, because remember I said from Adam & Eve Mankind is known as SONS & DAUGHTERS OF GOD, in other words, we have a soul. Made in the image of God.

it depends. entry into heaven is based on belief in god. and there is evidence that around the time of the Chicxulub Incident (65 mya), a certain species of dinosaur (whose name escapes me at the moment) were evolving opposable thumbs and brains as large as humans'. so it's possible that they were able to formulate beliefs, stumble onto the concept of god, believe in him, and go to heaven when the Big Crash happened.
there's only one way to find out, really (ouija board? i thought so :) )
=edit=
landerscott: remember that the bible is a human creation. it may have the right idea about god etc. (we don't know yet), but it can't really be expected to be *perfect* in every detail. there is mention in Leviticus of animals very different from those around today (birds with 4 legs etc.) which could be badly-copied or mistranslated references to dinosaurs or the like. we just don't know yet.....
=edit 2=
and by the way, i'm agnostic, but leaning towards theism (only slightly). i thought it would be interesting to answer this question considering a religious point of view, but slipped back to quasi-atheism (agnosticism) when replying to landerscott. just thought i'd add that in case anyone was wondering about my apparently shifting beliefs :)
=edit 3=
freakin' ecclesiates 3:21. that god is such a killjoy (who does he think he is, anyway? king of the universe or something? :) ). how are we meant to be "perfectly happy" in heaven (as the bible claims those that make it there will be) if we don't have the pets etc that we loved on earth?

According to the Bible, no animals go to heaven.
Ecclesiastes 3:21 Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward, and the spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth?
Animals were not made in the image of God, as man was (Genesis 1:26-27).

Of course dinosaurs went to heaven. There was a special extra-strong heaven for them, but unfortunately there were still too many, plus that they were much too heavy, and the dinosaur heaven broke down (it imploded) and became a black hole.

No, because if you are intelligent enough to realize dinosaurs existed,, and there are no mention of dinosaurs in the bible,,,
Then the bible must be wrong and there is no heaven.

you're combining 2 unalike issues, and which will be technology and faith, yet besides decrease back to the question accessible, i might want to assert you would see a dino who hasn't killed something in heaven and a dino who has in hell. i imagine.
