ragging as in talking crap? Prolly better things to do
ragging as in having a menstrual cycle? fine for a female but probably as little less comfy for you.
ragging as in putting rags in places they should not be? Maybe o.k. if the woman (or guy) agrees.
I guess I'm missing it. Good luck anyway

not at all. if u want to than limite to only asking the names and some other questions that don't make the newcomers feel insecure or embaraced.ragging should not be like that going on these days which forces the ragged person to committe suicide its not good at all. i don't how cruel animals r those stupid people who take such disgusting ragging, how can they find it to be fun, seeing other innocent people to be helpless. i think there is nothing much excited in taking ragging,atleast just think of their parents. u should think that u r still a student and maybe if goes like this the professionals would also take ragging and that u could be ragged in the same manner or even worst. but still if some do this,its totally appropreat to detend them from the coll and every junior should protest against it and if such things r going on in the institute they should take out the rallies if the coll administration doesn't listen to u. media will do that for u.

Ya up to some extent its ok but if you cross that level its not called as ragging its a torture.
Ragging is done only to know each other but students are misusing it due to which freshers are getting hurting by it and they are committing sucides and that's the reason in india govt has banned ragging.

Actually it is bad. yeah... everybody knows about that because it can give a really bad implication to the person that been ragging but to any person that done it... it is fun because we can do many thing to them and look at their frightening face. it is really fun but only if u didn't get any punishment
but what i want to say hear actually... don't bully others because there will come some other time that other person will do the same thing to us. maybe even worse! who knows...
