Fondue and a nice wine.
Fondue is very romantic and you can feed each other
For dessert try chocolate dipped strawberries....
Fondue is really easy to make and you can find tons of recipes on recipezaar.com. I'd serve the fondue with assorted meat, veggies and bread. This is really a fun and romatic dinner. I love to make this for my husband. He actually proposed to me after a really romantic dinner ( made fondue) and we were eating in front of the fire.
Hope this helps. Try it you won't be disappointed.
Oh yeah make sure you have some champagne to have with the chocolate dipped strawberries

Rosemary chicken (it takes a whole day to make), roasted potatoes and fresh seasonal veggies. For what to drink... probably just water with dinner, but a nice sparkling fruit wine afterwards, with pie. Any kind of pie, because it's pie.

Four cheese, four mushroom, Escargot Pizza. Cook the escargot till almost crunchy in garlic and butter. Cook the mushrooms in the snail butter. Grease the pizza pan with the snail butter. Spread the dough, top with pizza sauce, add grated cheeses (your choice) top with mushrooms, escargot and bake until perfect. Open some good red wine and enjoy.

Although I work at a Sonic as a cook I don't know how to cook ANYTHING at home. I live with my girlfriend and she cooks all the time. My speciality is probably ... Mac & Cheese ... or pancakes ... That's about it ... I'd just take her to some real nice restraunt.

Any of the above, but, for dessert, ripe strawberries with the leaves still on. Serve with a side of confectioner's sugar to dip it in....quite a sensual experience.

The special dinner that I would cook for my boyfriend would be RED, WHITE, & GREEN LASAGNE (a vegetarian dish) with a side order of a healthy salad, and a low-fat, low-carb carrot cake for dessert. And to drink ----- PEPSI.

You can make many sauces with white wine. Plus you can drink the wine while you cook.
