So sorry to you guys and gals who probably already know what this is...but Ive been seeing a lot of comments and statements here in the Q&A involving something or someone being called an "edna"...what does it mean???

It is someone who reports everyone for everything and has absolutely no sense of humor about anything.

edna (bambrick) was a poster on here a while ago who tried to clean the place up by reporting "dirty" questions and answers. she spawned a whole lot of other people imitating her and indiscriminately reporting. so i'd guess that an "edna" is someone who reports a lot or makes a big deal about "dirty" etc. questions
