May I be completely & totally honest with you? A lot of women really really don't care for the stuffed animals the way guys seem to think we do. It's very juvenile & once a woman reaches a certain age & stage in life she might wish to move on from stuffed animals phase. Try jewelry, dinner out, flowers & a card. Or buy her a birthday cake & sing a solo before taking her out for an evening at the movies. We keep the stuffed animals ya'll give us, just so your feelings won't get hurt, but really, other than getting thrown on the floor our in a chair, what do we do with them? Nothing. I don't know a lot of women who would be thrilled to pieces with a life sized teddy bear. I'm sorry if this seems harsh, but I thought you should know . . . Ask her what she would like - that SHOULD give you a better idea how to "wow" her for her birthday. You ARE sweet for wanting to please her, keep up the good work - just learn a lot more about gift giving . . .

Teddy bears aren't "real," dude, so they can't be "lifesize." You're giving her a stuffed animal for her birthday; is that it? What is she, 12?
Anyway, you want a HUGE stuffed animal for cheap, find yourself a carnival supply company. The ones you "win" after throwing $30 worth of softballs as milk bottles or darts at balloons are surprisingly inexpensive when you go to the source.
