Actually I love it - but you should not judge one type goats cheese by another - it is a bit like saying that you don't like Edam and therefore could not eat any other type pf cow's cheese.

Goats milk also does not have a fat content higher than that of cows - so the claim that Goat's cheese is higher in fat than cows is also false.

Here are just a few types

* Añejo cheese

B

* Banon (cheese)
* Bokmakiri cheese
* Bucheron

C

* Cabrales cheese
* Cabécou
* Castelo Branco cheese
* Chaubier
* Chèvre cheese
* Corleggy
* Crottin de Chavignol

F

* Feta

G

* Geitost

H

* Halloumi
* Humboldt Fog

J

* Jameed
* Jibneh Arabieh cheese

K

* Kasseri
* Kefalotyri cheese

L

* Labneh

M

* Majorero cheese
* Mató cheese
* Metsovone cheese

M cont.

* Mizithra cheese

N

* Nabulsi cheese

P

* Pantysgawn

R

* Rigotte de Condrieu
* Robiola
* Rocamadour (cheese)
* Rodoric cheese

T

* Testouri cheese

X

* Xynomizithra
* Xynotyro cheese

Yes, goats cheese both hard and soft is delicious and tastes, well, of itself, with it being obviously in the cheese section of classifications.

Love those little dripping fresh cheeses you can get on markets in France: eaten with ripe figs....delicious. Or slighly harder ones eaten with fresh walnuts; or toasted on bread.

All good cheese is worth eating to me.

Yes, I do! My favourites are the little ones with black pepper. One recipe I like is grilled goats cheese on a bed of salad with bits of bacon. A simple French dressing on top completes - divine with freshly cut French bread. . .

I like it in small amounts. It's a bit chalky and it tastes like a goat smells.

I like it, I only bought it once to try it. I thought it was somewhat like gouda. I have heard that it is better for you. Somehow I always seem to go back to the old standbys.
