BANANA NUT BREAD
(Yield: 1 Loaf)
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup shortening
2 eggs
2 cups "JIFFY" Baking Mix
1 cup mashed ripe banana
1/3 cup chopped nuts

REALLY EASY ONE USING JIFFY MIX...YUM!!
Preheat oven to 350°.
Grease 9"x5" loaf pan.
Cream sugar and shortening. Add remaining ingredients. Stir until well mixed. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake 55 minutes. Cool slightly before removing from pan.

The vascular cambium is the perpetually growing layer of a tree's trunk beneath the bark that makes it increase in diameter each year. The meristems make the tree grow taller.
A single culm (stem) of bamboo from an established rhizome (root) system reaches full height in one growing season, but then persists for several years, gradually increasing the number of side branches and branchlets, but neither growing broader or taller.
