Bogies are made of water and mucin mostly. Mucin is a protein. Water has no calorific value. Protein has a calorific value of around four calories per gram.
Therefore one bogey has a calorific value of:
w x 4
where "w" is the dry weight of said snot-lump in grams.
By and large though the energy expenditure of gathering nose-fruit is larger than that contained within the material itself. This is good for dieting but not for body-builders.

I like bogies, you could send them to me. I often drop some in my husbands tea (he doesn't know). Its a right laugh, sometimes when my friends come round they help too.

Don't know - John Lennon once included 'toe-jam' in a song. For non-scousers that's what you find between your toes if you only bath/shower once a month. Posh people bathed once a month whether they needed it or not.
