It still comes down to you asking me to have faith in -you-, not the Bible or God? If I don't place my faith in what -you- say, I won't place faith in the truth of the Bible or God.

To get me there, you have to ask me to place my faith in what -you- say, first, right? And again I ask you, why should I place my faith in you, rather than in any Christian whose instructions disagree with yours?

Well I could simply tell you read the Bible, I think now you don't need to have faith in me first .

The problem is as a Muslim i believe that the Bible is the words of God but sadly it also now contains the words of translators and the words of historians too so as you see the human factor has gotten into it , Unlike the Quraan which has never been changed nor lost its original translation its now memorized by more than 9 million person by its original language which is Arabic

Having faith in me will get you nowhere. Your faith belongs to God and only God. As to whether you believe or not depends on your heart---are you willing to open it up to the Holy Spirit and let him in. He is the one that has to explain it to you. You can listen to me until I am blue in the face, but if your mind is set against the Holy spirit, then there is nothing that I can say that will convince you that the Bible is the word of God and that it is the truth. I cannot make you or anybody else believe anything. Jesus loves you.

I'm afraid that I don't understand why you feel that your beliefs in ANYthing are totally dependent on whether or not you believe someone else's opinion. That would be a pretty pitiful way to go through life, if you ask me.

Think about all the other things you believe; the sun will come up tomorrow morning - did you first only believe that because someone else did, or because you experienced it for yourself? When your Daddy said "jump, I'll catch you," did you believe him yourself, or only jump because HE believed it?

Think for yourself. Faith is a personal thing, not dependent on what anyone else has faith in.

Then why ask questions? Naturally you would not be expected to take anyones word for the "truth". I would think something as serious as your soul would make you want to study for yourself and not ask for someone else's opinion. We need to seek our own salvation. I believe you must be asked into the kingdom of God, and that only happens when you have an open heart to respond to the truth.

No you don't have to believe me first.John3:16 says (For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son,that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.)KJV.First you got to believe, then God will guide into the truth. The more you read your bible the more you will believe,if you will let the spirit guide you.IT is better to put trust in God than in man because God want let you down, but man will.God bless you.

First and fore most do not put your faith in any human being, if you do you'll be disappointed. Get your eyes of man kind and put them on God. Man is imperfect whereas God is perfect.
It's up to YOU to believe in God. Just get on your knees and ask God for guidance, he'll answer -- question is... will you be listening.

Guess that's why word alone is not enough. Christians are called to live as light and salt of this world.

All I ask is that you have an open mind and read the Bible and decide for yourself. (yes, I have read other religious books).
