I have a panasonic camcorder with a mini DV casette. I want to convert them to dvd.

use Ulead Video for DV or DVD

once you've a mini dv (cassette) camcorder…. Your dv camcorder desires a firewire connection (ieee 1394) as a fashion to receive video, your computing gadget probably did not contain a firewire port, so which think ofyou've got to purchase one and deploy it, in view that maximum pcs (except probably sparkling) do not contain a firewire port, your camcorder did not contain a firewire cord so that you could purchase a cord too. Your camcorder did contain a USB cord and that is used for downloading stills out of your camcorder. ascertain your digicam is in playback mode. I have a panasonic camcorder with mini dv casettes - i use roxio easy media creator 7 or microsoft windows movie maker (which is free .....I recommend that if your computer has one you use a firewire connector to connect both together .....if you need any more help ...please feel free to email me

ulead dvd movie factory 5 will capture dv from your cam corder you can then use it to produce a professional quality dvd try ulead.com for a working down load I use this software try video studio 10 plus aswell also available from ulead

iMovie is good and really easy to use, although I'm not sure if it is available for PC's.
