Hell is the most dreaded place one can imagine one to be in....
According to many Hindu scriptures, Hell is full of painful, tiring, dreaded and very dangerous experiences. Some of the scriptures even say that if someone murders the other person with a sword, he/she fells into the boiling water there in the hell and is inturn pierced with a sword.
Some of us might argue here that our bodies donot accompany us in the hell and therefore how can we feel the pain? But the fact is that the subconscious mind does travel along with the soul and we therefore feel the pain and agony of the experiences at the hell.
Heaven is a place where the humble, the generous and the kind go. If you help the needy in your life, do fastings, worship God, give off several alms to the poor and a lot more good deeds then you are ought to got there. Heaven is a place full of all comforts, you have all the pleasures and the facilities of the best kind at your disposal and you kind of really enjoy there. It is called heaven because you get the fruits of all the good deeds done previously....

Hope this makes the picture clearer.

Hell, like Heaven, is a multi-dimensional place. From a place
of our own imagining. To a dark place, of cold and loneliness.
To a place of extreme suffering.
I think hell is in the Earth as believed. But on another dimensional
level. The extreme heat and suffering at the level of earths
nuclear center.
There is no eternal damnation in hell. The Book says hell and
death will be destroyed at some point.
Heaven will be whatever you imagine it to be. And more.

It would be very hard for me to picture heaven and hell without remembering the paintings on the subject. Since I do not believe in either place I cannot really attempt to give a description of either.....at least not my own. I would have to go by what the artists with fertile imaginations have to say about either place.
How can these places hold so many millions (billions) of souls?
I guess someone will figure it out.

Since I dont believe in either Id say that hell would be the party where the music rocks, and heaven would be all geeky and no fun.

in Islam, hell is sort of a place with a huge fire that is 27 times hotter than the fire we know.. ppl r being burnt as long as their punishment requires, and everytime after they r totally burnt they will get their skin back and get burnt again..and so on

heaven, on the other hand is undescribable, ppl r immortal, beds are made of gold, tents are made of pearl, there r rivers of honey, and wine... everyone will have a perfect and gorgeous spouse no one will be alone,, ppl dont get sick and dont feel sad in heaven... all types of food and meat is there, ppl live in peace and dont talk badly to each other... ppl dont suffer cold weather or hot weather ,,its perfect

this is all i know but there is much more about it

Hell: a cave-like place, fire-filled, hideous creatures and gnashing of teeth.

Heaven: cool breezes, beautiful spirits, jewel covered places and the most welcoming, loving peace imaginable.

Read Esdras Old Testament in Bible. Heaven and Hell are in us, every moment for God is eternity. Jesus said Kingdom of God is in us own self
