There are only about three or four countries currently producing nuclear weapons. Most don't say much about their production programs.
The United States has a fairly large stockpile already and production here is simply to maintain the weapons, which do need to periodically be remanufactured or replaced.
Frankly, if the U-S wanted to run the world it could have done so several decades ago. It could do so now with impunity as there are no other countries that could challenge us. We would like to maintain sufficient power in the world to be able to sustain ourselves through trade and to maintain peace as much as possible as it affects us.
The other countries are China, India and Pakistan. Britain and France have comparatively limited nuclear weapons capabilities, and keep them primarily to defend themselves if they need to do so.
Israel also has some nuclear capability.
You have asked what appears to be a loaded question. I am not going there. I have answered honestly to the best of my knowledge, and I do keep up with these things.

All Super Powers or exclusvely "five permanent members in the UN Security Council" on whose mercy the entire world lives!!!!!!!!
They are the leaders in world arms race.
They have / know / invent / stolen formula to prepare excellent bombs to destroy humankind, infrastructure and earn that blood stained money to feed their own country's hungry & thirsty power broakers, surrounding pimps and politicians of same kind. At a right time they cut the throat of the depending buyer by not extending the support with a funny false allegation!!!!!!!!
After a couple of hours it clicked me about certain countries like North korea, Pakistan, Syria and Egypt are involved in the research and development of WMDs. North Korea seems to be having some weapons and the delivery syatems. Where as Pakistan exploded a nuclear device a few years back to establish that they also can do it!! Some called it as Islamic Atom Bomb!!!!

Most countries with nuclear capabilities not producing new ones.
Couple of countries real interested in joining the club...
Spread power is not possible via nuclear means(unless you are talking to produce electrical power?). That's like spread power via air... you can deny movement and destroy infrastructure but you cannot spread power.
The scariest notion for me is starving North Koreans with middle range missiles building nukes.
Very possible in next twenty years a nuke will be set off... most likely an existing small yield device sold off to the highest bidder after being stolen from some ex-Soviet or Chinese arsenal. Probably denoted at a mid-size coastal seaport. Real life can be unpleasant.
None would be the short answer.

Well the US already has plenty of nuclear weapons they aren't trying to produce more, they are telling everyone else not to produce nukes or else. We are already imperialistic, having forces all over the globe. Been doing that for years, nothing new.
Bush and Cheney the warmongers are just wanting to start a war with IRAN. Not nuclear though. If our nuclear weapons were used today it would totally wipe out the Middle East.

Israel and the USA. it has been very clear from their recent activities in the past couple of years unitll today, E.g Afgahnistan, Iraq, and the recent arguments about Iran
The usa is trying to Disarm all other countries that produce nuclear weapons, so that it will be the only one.
Why?...so they can spread their power over the world!

OK I will be honest I truly feel that the United States of America is the culprit. They are the only country to ever use them on other nations. They never even slowed down after the Accords were signed and what a one sided deal it was for all the up and coming non nuclear countries. Now nuclear power is for power and protection. Thank you USA, you showed them!

The USA did not build nuclear weapons to spread influence over the world. It was developed to end WWII.
After that, the nuclear arsenal was developed as a deterrent only and it was aimed at deterring the former USSR.
The policy was known as Mutually Assured Destruction (MAD).
the USA does not use the bomb as an offensive threat to other nations.
Iran is developing nuclear weapons, not as a defensive measure, but as an offensive measure aimed primarily at Israel.

Actually this method of controlling power died in the 70's as far as the US goes. We simplified and divided our resources to other more tactful things! I believe that this has become a race in the 3rd world contries that are somewhat self sustaining. Like how Russia did after the cold war. You have all these bombs and everything and no war. What better way to make money than to get other smaller countries of limited wealth and intelligence to fight one another spend all their money and trade in one or a few nuclear grade bombs then blow each other up then the country that sold the nuclear bombs claims the land that was just blown up with all the dead people on it! Common war stradegy: Divide and Conquer!

That's why any country produces nucleur weapons - so all of the countries that have them.
A possible exception is India/Pakistan where they've been developed largely in response to a specific local situation, but even then it's with an eye to global politics.

Many countries are producing such weapons albeit as a deterrent to other countries who cannot afford to do so!
However, Islamic fundamentalists countries (which so far appear limited in their development) will no doubt once in possession of them, feel adequately empowered to launch them against others at any incurred provocation (as they will say it is) without even the slightest realisation of what it would portend!
Under no circumstances can the Islamic trained Puppy Dog President of Iran (trained by and kept on a leash by unelected crazed Ayatollahs) be allowed to dictate policy over them or be allowed to possess them!
He, at sometime in the future, at the behest of Islamic extremists nutters and their supporters, will, unquestionably, lob them at others!
