1. Inventing nuclear weapons. Good. If the Allied forces didn't develop nuclear weapons, then the Germans would have got there first, and the UK and America would glow green at night. also, many more Americans would have died before the end of WW2

2. Using them. Good and Bad. Good because it considerably shortened the war. bad because it killed so many innocents. It shouldn't have been dropped on a city. Should have been a military target.

For both questions the answer is: It depends on the reason. Developing nuclear weapons with the intent of using them is bad. Having nuclear weapons you won't use under any circumstances is worse.

Well in regards to INVENTING nuclear weapons, I gotta tell ya, they have already been invented. BUT as far as them having been invented, GOOD IDEA.

Using nuclear bombs? They should have done that over in IRAQ already. Then all our troops could be home and we wouldn't have to worry about any more terrorist attacks. (NOT from them anyway)

Inventing Nuclear Weapon is Good.........atleast it tell us d whole world tht we r Nuclear Power n makes them to think twice before attacking, afterall inventions for own safety is good.

Using nuclear bombs during war is bad, it's no use to kill mankind with his own invention to help mankind, rather try to not to use Nuclear Bombs but if it is die or live situtation thn using it for our safety is not bad.

the answer to both questions is BAD.
Nuclear Fission was invented to help mankind not kill.
The only country to use this weapon against mankind was the USA and even today they are clearing up the mess in Japan.
The use and the making of these bombs should be stopped.
in the seventies we had several marches against the use but they are still being made. visit http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hiroshima and see what the USA did there.
