Pork is extremely healthy, if cooked to proper temperature (145 degrees Fahrenheit). Otherwise you could possibly get sick from Trichinella spiralis.

It is not unhealthy to eat pork. That misconception comes from years ago when you had to cook pork absolutely thoroughly in order to kill a worm that was sometimes found in pork that causes the disease called Trichinosis. With modern sanitary hog raising that is no longer a danger. It is a very flavorful and tasty meat. Enjoy!

If it is well cooked there is no danger. In fact, it is healthy and very tasty.
If it is not completely cooked there is a (remote) chance of contracting trichinosis.
All meat produced today can have some chemical, hormone or drug residue if the producer is either not careful, unskilled or unscrupulous. Because of the serious consequences of inadequate food safety, most governments today require controls that make this less likely.

all meats are unhealthy if eaten to extream as our own bodies take longer to digest the fat and tissues in them,eaten in moderation and grilled or boiled they can become part of a healthy diet,unfortuatly pork has a higher ratre of fat deposits than most!
