This sounds gross but use ciggerette ash, add a drop of water to the ash then use a cotton wool ball to rub some on your skin. Comes off like a dream!

I use chlorine bleach on a cotton ball. You can bet that it is not healthy or advised by a physician but it does work. After wards, rinse the area and use a large amount of skin cream to reverse the drying and burning of the bleach.
In the future when you dye your hair put Vaseline or cold cream around the areas effected by the hair dye before starting to color and take the time to apply it correctly. Good luck!

Yes, ash does the trick. But, here's a little advice for next time. Before you start dying your hair put some hand/face cream or lotion around your hairline, ears and forehead and it will make it a lot easier to wipe off the dye on your skin.

how about rubbing your skin with a microfiber cloth with a bit of water? I dye my hair myself and leave the dye on for 45min, if any stains my skin i can always manage to remove it this way.

My hairdresser friend told me milk on cotton wool is meant to work. Haven't tried myself though.
Ps- Nail polish remover contains ethanol if you want to try that!
