It could be, as bananas are binding, which can cause constipation if you have sensitive bowels. Apples should have the opposite effect, though, and loosen stools. Try alternating one every other day.

I f you weren't constipated and bloated before eating an apple and a banana on a daily basis , and it started these 2 symptoms up when you started eating them after a few days, than yes that is probally the reason you are bloated and constipated.Take a laxative for your constipation and a waster pill for yuor bloating and eat one or another from this day on.........

Apples are healthy and high in fiber. Bananas contain a lot of sugar and cause constipation which can result in bloating.

Very well could be. When we have someone at the nursing home where I work with lose stools, we give them bananas to make them more solid. I would cut down to just maybe one of them a day and see what happens.

Huh?I don't think so,because apple and banana and other fruits and vegetables are very good for you,like I know that banana gives you energy sometimes.I don't know,that is just my opinion!

I do the same and yes, but not bloated tho, there are good days and bad. But they are good for you. Make up for it by drinking lots of water. Don't stop eating them.

No, you just have to comply if the 'nature call' calls you... daily as prescribed by doctors.
