If you believe in the concept of one spirit, then the phrase above is true. In the religious world, they address themselves as brothers and sisters implying spiritual oneness. So, if we talk only one spirit then whatever actions you take in response consequently is the same action you do to yourself. So if the action is good the you are doing something good to your spirit in return. Karma is real, not a matter of choosing to believe in it or not.

Hello mi.!! :o) The phrase, "What goes around - comes around" is certainly not specifically a 'wiccan or 'mystic' phrase or belief. In fact - it's quite a common saying. [Believed by all sorts of different people] And I believe that there is some truth to it. And I also believe [as you do] that karma has something to do with it. We often [even if it's on a subconscious level] believe that we get what we deserve in life. [which means basically the same thing as the phrase you're talking about] Craig!! :o)

The universe is impartial - if you ask for roses then that is what you will get, the same goes for garbage. I know what I would prefer. It is OK to be curious, that is how we learn; I believe in "do unto others as you would have them do unto you" some people like this phrase better "do others before they do you!" A little knowledge is dangerous, however if you feel bad about something then leave it alone. There is good magic and it is called working with the universe, not performing spell and incantations to hex somebody. Mother nature is magic if you listen to her.

This is something I personally debate. While I'm not a Buddhist, I do follow many of their principles, and I like the concept of karma--it's an anchor in a random universe.
On the other hand, I do strongly believe in the principle of belief--if you believe that bad things will come back to you, they will. If you don't believe they will, they won't. This is from the perspective of a chaos magician; the human mind and the power of belief trumps all.

Hi There, nice to meet you ,to find an angle through which to give you an example , i will use the present events. If they were still alive , im shure thered be a lot of people wanting to get hold of those men and woman that have walked into crowded vehicles and planes with bombs strapped to them selfs.thinking of them selfs above and so blessed at there terrible act. They fool them selves in there hatred, with the hope of there reward. There will be many brothers and sisters, mothers and fathers just craving to tear them limb from limb. Yes The law of the world, What go's round, comes around. This is all before they face the father himself ,and find out the terrible truth, when they will see sitting beside Him , Christ himself ! Ah Yes, "What goes round comes around .David.

The Wiccans believe in the threefold law, or law of 3. Basically what you put out into this world will come back to you 3 times as good or bad, depending on what kind of thing you've done.

i don't feel that the karmic thing is a mystic saying only
i have seen this said in many religions in one way or another
what goes around comes around
the wheel of fate
karma
what we give we receive etc
and i feel it happens , even on a small scale
i have had the not so great pleasure of experiencing it and I'm now more careful about my actions towards others
and there is nothing wrong either in you exploring a little of the unknown , no matter your religion
i don't feel you are hypocritical at all ... just curious ( which is healthy )

As a muslim you should be ashamed to believe in "karma". There is no such a thing.
However you should not do bad in your life, because it may directly or indirectly harm you or others. There is a say - "when you eat sour, only your children's teeth get numbed. But it is not "karma" my dear. "karma" is an excuse for all the lazy people in the world.
Look at Arkangyle's answer below. He is exactly correct. Hope you will learn something.

I don't find any truth in the notion of a spiritual karma. However, we can see examples in society of this phrase having meaning.
For example : If you treat others poorly, you're more likely to be treated poorly by them in return. If you give of yourself generously, then you'll likely receive in return. The rule isn't strict and has many exceptions, but we have a definite tendency to reap what we sow.

sure, Karma is unquestionably contemporary in our existence. he gets what he merits. look at Poe, he had a terrible existence, merely rather relatively tousled, and now he has been externalized in literature continually as between the superb poets. Or Brittney Spears, while she develop into youthful she develop into thoroughly uncontrolled and extremely frivolous and negligent to her family. Then all of it got here decrease back to hang-out her, after she worked complicated to be a greater efficient man or woman and positioned her existence at the same time she is doing rather nicely returned. Karma, my chum, it is going to all come decrease back with Karma.
