What will you say, when someone like his mother dies and all you have is science?

Will you say: well son, you see the sun created us out of nothing, and I have no idea why we exist. We just are and we die, where we go no one knows.

Then he'll say: Then why do we go on living?

You'll: say because we get loads of money and life feels good when we have sex with women

(note: logic destroys logic, or comes around and you start where you left off) ...
for if you add God to science...you just re-wrote the bible and added your own religion

This is what I would tell a child if his or her mother died.

"Your mother lived a wonderful life, and now she is no longer in pain. She loved you very much, and because she had you, a little part of her is still alive."

If they asked me why we go on living, I'd say: "Because the world is beautiful. Because we have friends and family whom we love. Because we have the chance to experience so much, to see, hear, and touch so many things. The world isn't perfect, but we can change it for the better. Life is wonderful."

You don't need to have a religion to appreciate life. If you do, then I feel really sorry for you.

Simple - I tell my children the truth. We are products of an unthinking, undirected natural process in an uncreated universe. We didn't choose to exist, but we're here, we are what we are and we live because living is preferable to dying. That is human nature. When we die, we cease to exist, and that is the truth, regardless of how much we would like it to be otherwise. When we lose someone we love, we mourn them and remember them with love, but we don't pretend that they still exist somewhere. That would be ridiculous. We accept reality as it is.

To tell children anything else is quite simply a lie, and I do not approve of lying to children.

Barney [the speaker's cat] is in the ground and he's helping to grow flowers.
You know, I said, that's a pretty nice job for a cat.

So, by this statment of yours I take it you have no problem with lieing to little children. I bet you have candy and a big black van also.

Your lack of logic is astounding.
