tell him "hey, i'm kinda immature right now. wait till i grow up a little bit more."
if he's the one being immature tell him "grow up or i'll dump ur as$" (no realy, don't do this)
if ur both mature explain him the situation and what exactly is not working, cause u realy didn't give us too much details.

Just be as honest as you possibly can. Tell him exactly what the problem is and that it wont work now and never will. This might sound cruel, but dont ever lie to make another person feel better, because in the end, they will never know exactly what they did wrong and will try to get with you again. Dont LIE, be open and honest. Trust me. Wouldnt you want a boyfriend to be honest on why he wants to leave you?Go for it, good luck!!!

You want to tell your b/f that its over, but you love each other? If you're less than 25, then I can understand why you need more experience. If you're older than that, then whats wrong with the relationship?

If you think you are not interested any longer be bold to him and call it quit. There is no need pretending, when your mind is out of the relationship.
