SLOPPY JOE'S

6 servings

1 lbs. ground beef
1 med onion, chopped
1 can tomato soup
2 tbsp. ketchup
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tbsp. vinegar
1 tbsp. mustard
Salt and pepper

Brown meat and onions. Add remaining ingredients and simmer slowly for about 15 minutes. Serve on hamburger buns.

I have been making sloppy joes for years this simple way and everyone seems to like them:

1 lb. hamburger
1 can chicken gumbo soup, not diluted
2 tablespoons mustard
ketchup till it has a nice pink color.

Let simmer for 1/2 hour or until the right consistency. If it gets too thick, thin it out with a little water. If too thin, simmer it some more. Add salt to taste if necessary.

SLOPPY JOE'S ARE GROSS BUT U CAN GET A "MAMWICH" CAN OF SAUCE AND ADD COOKED GROUND MEAT
