I'm into photography and know the looks I want, wardrobe, hair, makeup and poses for these shots as well as locations.Is it possible for me to do this by maybe having a friend take the shots and just directing him?

Wireless cable releases are one way to do self portraits. mark your focal plane so you stay in focus and shoot yourself or find a friend or fellow photog, who can shoot 1st off, and who understands what you want and have them help you. Anything is possible. Happy Shooting and good luck!

yes very easy most normal digital cameras now are so good anyway there is no need for profetional kit. if you would like a personal portfolio site please contact me and I will set you on up for free. I can design you a fully personalised flash website with as much or little information and then host it for you. This site can contain a gallery of your photos, personal information, list of work, contact details, etc or if you prefer just a couple of photos and nothing else. It can be password protected and all images will be protected as is humanly possible, or the photos can be available to download.

I will need to speak to your parents and make sure that they know what is happening and agree with it before i do any work, sorry but it is a legal issue.

Absolutely. I've produced several private shoots. Never of myself, but it can definitely be done. Maybe if you hook up the camera to a computer screen so you can see when you have the shot you like that might help too.

Sure, if your friend knows what to do behind a camera and you guys both know a few things about lighting. I find it's a lot easier to bark commands at a model than it is to boss another photographer around.

yup... my friends who are studying photography,design & art in university did that...and good photo shoot can be published first on the magazine on campus, then develop on the public magazine... make a lot of money..
