My definition of a Christian is someone who has given Jesus Christ full control of their lives. Of course, we still have free will, but choose to submit that free will to Him so we can experience total freedom and peace.
Luk 9:23 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. (said by Jesus)
This is also what the Bible says. Bless you. I hope you got what you're looking for.

smncoll,
"1st what is your definition on a christian"
My definition of a Christian is someone who has claimed that jesus is the savior, and that He rose again after dying for the sins of men. A Christian became a Christian by repenting of themselves, ( dying to themself) and proclaiming the Salvation is of the Lord, not necessarily in those words.

"2nd what is biblical definition of a christian"
The Bible's definition of a Christian is in Hebrews 11. The whole chapter. And go to Hebrews 12:1-3 while you are at it.

A christian is someone who believes there was a "jesus christ" and claims to "live as christ did".

Any other definition is religious sectarianism, an attempt to deny that certain other people are christians, eg. the Nazis were christians, the KKK are christians, terrorists like Eric Rudolph and James Kopp are christians, Fred Phelps is a christian, etc.

By mentioning those names I am not inferring that the majority of christians agree with them, but rather, that just because you don't like something doesn't mean you can deny the facts. You will never hear an atheist deny that Stalin was an atheist, yet christians go into apoplectic denial when they want to disassociate themselves from christians they find as repugnant as atheists find Stalin repugnant.

Many prostates - oops, protestants - claim that catholics aren't christians (some call catholics satanists), so any definition other than a belief in the one central figure of christianity is ludicrous.

My definition and the Bible's definition is same.
A Christian is one in whom Christ lives. A person having Christ living in him. The Bible says that you are the temple of the living God. When God lives in a person, then that person is a true Christian.

1st a christian follows the teachings of christ and believes he was virgin born and was raised after 3 days in the tomb after dying to reconsile us to God. There is no definition in the bible, look into what paul taught in corinthians chpt 13.Its all about being imitators of christ, forgiveness and showing the fruits of the spirit.

#1) my answer: A Christian is a person who has
a) recognized that s/he has done wrong things
b) believes that The Bible is The Word of God
and that it is truth, and is the ONLY source
of truth.
c) therefore s/he believes that God allows us to
choose to accept the consequences of those
wrong actions, or to accept His grace, mercy, total
forgiveness, and love
d) asks Jesus Christ to do in his/her heart that which
only He can do.

#2) The Bible says that a Christian is a follower of Jesus Christ.
The implication is that a relationship has been established,
and that there is interaction between Jesus Christ and that
person, daily.

I explain it brieffly in the following paras:

First I want to explain 2nd:
Those who trust and follow the "father, son and holy spirit" in the reincarnation as Jesus Christ are Christians: They have to follow the set rules for New born, Baptism, Ceminary, fasting, pilgrimage, marriage and the rituals after death as mentioned in Holy Bible!!

My own definition:
Those who avoid all the above are the pious Christians supporting gay + lesbian marriages + homo sexual preachers etc.

Also ther Gay + Lesbian marriages were/are conducted in the Church! It is stinking like rotten egg!!

Oh Jesus! I am ready to show my other cheek for a free slap incase they (the crazy crowd0 drop all these nonsense !!!!

Pt. George W. Bush is also an example for a pious Christian!!!!
It seems Jesus likes such fellows!!!
