Did they have your same pollitical beliefs?
Eharmony is like a black hole I think. They will not give out stats of how many people meet in a given city or how many people of a certain city are listed at a time. I asked them and they told me they are a privately held company. I said I was not interested in stock options. I just was interested because no one in my community was having any luck and they were all getting matched with people of opposite pollitical offiliation and this was supposed to be some perfect thing.

Anyone have any experience with this thing? Match.com has been working in my community on the other hand.

Does E harmony think it is cute to match democrats and repblicans? Do they think that is good for a lasting marriage? I think not what is their problem and what is with the compatability profile? That is what they did to me and so I never met these guys and canceled my membership and told them. What is wrong with these people?

Current guy I am with yeah weird story. He and I have been together 2 years and we disguss the eharmony thing. We both agree it makes him mad because he was on it and he thinks they only match the old men with the young women.

He is 3 months older than me and we did not meet although we were both on there. We met on match.com. We should have known eachother I knew his sister from work, his fathers friends from work and his best friend. We grew up 2 blocks from each other and lived there near each other for 18 years and yeah his best friend was my Judo partner. We were both outside all the time. He worked at the grocery storey that I went to every sunday with my mom. Go figure we had to meet on the net. Yeah he knows I wrote eharmony and we both think it is a scam.

Yeah I made them match me with someone in my city and they could not do it. I did the long distance thing in high school. I am too old for that junk. It is a waste. There are good people in every city lets get real. We do not have to go over 50 miles.

What!?! I don't do hookups at online pay sites. Does your current significant one know you're shopping for dating sites? More power to you I guess.

I think it is a waste of money. it's over $200 a year and all the girls it matched me with were a good distance away. far enough to make it unfeasable. I think if you put enough faith in it to just go ahead and go all out and tavel 500 miles to be with someone you assume MUST be your soulmate, then it may work out. but it's because of the effort the two people put forth to make it work, not the matching abilities of the website, IMO
