i won't be able to think of of any reason that young little ones would be psychologically broken after gaining knowledge of approximately eternal damnation. they'd the two have confidence this to be authentic and make the determination of a life-time(or eternity), or think of of it as poppycock and go through the ends up in eternity(yet meanwhile they had stay project-loose coz they had think of eternal damnation became right into a lie). Take your %. yet there is no longer something incorrect with telling little ones that Hell exists(or eternal damnation on your words)! ultimately that is their option to settle on in the event that they suspect you or no longer!

Hi,
Yes it does sound pretty steep but it doesnt change the Fact that Christ spoke more of Hell than he did of Heaven.
Christ came and died so that through him you would escape this Hell.
You only have to watch the Passion of the Christ to see how much passion Christ had for you and your eternal destiny.
If hell was untrue Christ would not have had to come and be crucified for our sins.
The Bible states 'For God so LOVED the world that he sent His only Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not PERISH, but have everlasting life'
There is absolutley no need for anyone to be eternaly damned, Christ paid a very high price for your soul, he paid for it with His very own blood. There is power in the blood of Christ to save and cleanse you from all sin.
Christ had to take the punishment we should rightly endure in the eyes of a high and holy God, Christ died and went right into Hell during the 3 days he was dead, took the keys from Satan and let the captives go.
If just being a good person got you into his kingdom then the crucifiction was in vain.
Just look at the wickedness of this world, why is it so hard to believe that there could be any wickedness after death, its here at this side why not in the other.
Hell is real, but Christ has paid your debt in full, if you would only turn to Him and repent. He is wonderful, a great ally in this fear filled world.
take care.

Bill to understand the doctrine of eternal damnation, you must always view it in relation to the eternal law of God...
1 The law of God is eternal because God who gave it is eternal
2 The penalty for the law for violating the law as well as the reward for keeping the law of God is therefore eternal
3 That is why Christ the eternal Son of God had to condescend to earth to keep the law for others
4 The penalty of the law must be perfected either in two ways
a) Either by Christ who gave an eternal satisfaction to the law of God
b) Or by men who will suffer for all eternity under the penalty of the law
Conclusion
Bill eternal damnation is not set by God as an unjust sentence upon sinners and those who offend the law, but rather a just and unavoidable sentence which the law itself demands...
hope this helps...

Long time, eh?
Unfortunately time is a manmade thing for us to understand concepts like later, not now, tomorrow, in a little while, for ages etc.
If you try to conceptionalise the present with no notion of future or past, then you will have the notion of eternity. It is simply now. Without end because there is no beginning and there is no end.

God can only permit those loyal to Him to have Eternal Life. Otherwise, you have an eternity of exactly the kinds of problems you have in this world. Who would want that? Those that have Eternal Life will have the knowledge, power and authority of Jesus Christ. You put that in the hands of someone who is not loyal to God and you would get an eternity of devastation and suffering

What you fail to understand is that you are stuck with the condition with which you personally enter into eternity.
Based on that, God figures out where you will best fit in, and he sends you there.
It's only after a long, long time goes by and you finally figure things out, that the reality of the situation becomes apparent. And then it's too late.
It's much easier to simply put your faith in Christ, do what his true church says to do, and then, not worry about it.
That's the beauty of Christianity.

If you look at life this way .. it really isn't short, it is forever, one way or the other. We all live forever, ending up after our life on earth either in heaven or in hell. Believing in Jesus as our Savior will make ones final destination to be in heaven. We humans didn't create this world or make the rules and purposes for living in it, so this is just how it is, which is mostly beyond our limited comprehension, yet we have all we need to know.... we have the Bible and we have prayer, and we have God to love us and provide ways to find answers to our questions.

I think I understand what you mean. My dad kept going on and on about how I would be condemned to hell if I didn't give my life to Christ. So, instead of drawing me closer to God it drove me away. It seemed like God was pretty crewel.
Years later I learned (from a friend) that God is full of grace and love, that he wanted to have a relationship with me but sin prevented it. He sent His Son to die for those sins. Christ took them all - past, present and future!
He would have sent His son to die for you even if you were the only person on earth. He wants to have a relationship with you, not condemn you. He wants you to have life - abundant life. I hope that you will discover this. Try reading the book of John, and check out the link. God bless!

NO its not for ever and ever!
Hell today is not even punishment!
It is just a place to keep those who are not able to stand before the Lord.
The Lake of fire is death, but its not for over a 1000 years from now.
