I got married a year ago and my husband is Greek. We had the traditional Greek Orthodox ceremony - it was absolutely beautiful - and then the reception, complete with 8-member Greek band and Greek dancing. I thought it turned out great! It wasn't what I imagined for my wedding - I mean, I never thought I would do that....but it had a lot of tradition, sentimental value and meaning to it and everytime I watch the video it is just a treasure. What a wonderful day!!

I want my wedding to stand out a little. I'm getting married this October and I want it to be light and fun. Something that when I look back I smile because we all had fun and we werent stressed over the small stuff.
In the end it's what happens after you say "I Do " that matters the most.

I'm a hardcore Celtic girl so I'm doing Scots-Irish traditions at my wedding but we're not doing solemn and stuffy! I think a mix of both is best!

i love tradition the music and dancing; the whole family with all the kids included; the bride in white; the flowers and the decor and the cake all in pastels.
