There are some chronological differences in the 4 gospels (particularly with John's account compared to the 3 synoptics) regarding the date and time of events, along with numerous other details of the execution and resurrection.

The "story" goes like this: He was put on the cross at noon on a Friday (Good Friday - remember?), lived for 3 hours, and died. His body was taken to the grave, and three days later (a Sunday) rose again. At least, that's what you believe if you are a Christian. The historical truth of the matter might be just a wee bit different, but I don't know - I wasn't there to observe.
