Basicly I just didn't go back after summer vacation for my senior year. Since then I have gotten my GED and I'm currently going to college. So what I want to know is can I go to my 1996 class reunion. Its in October, i did receive an invitation. There are only a few people I'd like to see but i don't want people thinking "what is she doing here, she didnt even graduate'

If you got an invitation, then go. What's the problem? You're probably ahead of some of those that were in your graduating class anyway. I left my senior year, got my G.E.D. and was in College way before my class even graduated. However, there is no one from that class that I want to see, so I ignore the reunions. I've got better things to do with my life than rehash what they would call the "good ole days". What crap. Would you want to be 17 or 18 again? Not me!

Best thing to do is talk to your peers, the people organizing the reunion. Put the question to them and see how they respond.

You were part of the class, regardless so it should be ok. People are going to think what they want and it really does not matter if you graduated or not.

If you received an invitation, and you want to go, by all means go and don't worry about what people will think or say about you're being there.
