I saw a dark figure, any ideas on what it is?

the other day I was watching tv and I saw someone walking in the farthest point in the corner of my eye. I jumped because it was walking from the front door, but when I looked it was gone. Then not to long after that I grabbed something off the floor and when I looked up there was a dark figure standing in front of me. There were no features and it didn't move. I looked away and looked back and it was gone. Any ideas?

i understand the whole eyes playing tricks on you thing, I am a sane person. But this thing I actually "looked" at it. It was there as long as I was looking at it.
Also, my inital feeling was its just a shadow, then I was like why are you still standing there. But I am saved and I wasn't scared, but wondering what it wanted and why it was there.

angel_silence, Some would call them the shadow people. There has been some photographs of them, I think that a Google on that will show you some of them.

I have had a manifestation materialize over me while I was in bed. I woke up to it and yelled Biblical scripture at it and it never fully materialized. I think that they are demons. That one was after me because It followed me home after I visited an old neighborhood that I used to live in.

If you are not saved and it wants to bother you, being saved and having faith in God through Christ will cover you. There simply is no other way. It might try, or might have already chosen to dwell in you. They still do that.

It was probably a spirit. Don't worry It won't hurt you. you should get some info out the house/land. most houses have ghost.
It good to get the history because you can figure out if this is a good or bad spirit and I know you do not want negative energy around you. sometimes that negativity is known to take over your emotional state, ruin personal relationships, and cause bad luck or harm to other. so be careful. youll need to seek a pro to get rid of them, and it won't be easy!

Some show their precence and others just make stange things happen. And theres also those who come and go on certain dates. Im sure it won't hurt you. It was probably his/her home before. And thats where he/she wants to be. Usually because something or someone presently living in the household. They will protect you. that's why I say that you shouldn't worry about them . Because they won't bother you. it might scare you...Buti's normal. We are all afraid of the uknown. But you will get used to it.

You were watching"The Matrix" a little too hard, I think.

There's a phenomenon called "gestalt". It's the human brains ability to pick out patterns and interpet them. It give us the ability to see shapes in clouds and such things. Odd-shaped shadows and movement can trick the eye and brain into thinking that something is one thing when it is actually another. If you catch an odd pattern by the corner of your eye, your brain could easily interpet it as a "figure" or something familiar.

Maybe it reflected from the TV to you window or something. We always have times like that in our lives.

you eyes might have played tricks on you. especially at night one might hear strange noises, because it's very quiet at night and every little twitch can be heard. you might even see a dark figure and shadows moving but it might only bee something reflecting from the outside for a little while and if it was in the corner of your eye you can definitely be sure there was in fact no one or nothing there, it was just a shadow.

This is a demon.

Now have you recently accepted a gift off of somebody, or have you purchased something second hand from anybody who may be into spiritual sort of things.

Because if you have these things in your home or possession, demons have free access to your home and family.

If not i suggest you pray the blood of Christ and ask this spirit to be bound, don't try talking to this spirit, as speaking to it will also give it access to you.

Ask for Christ to protect you. If you want this to go away, it's a good idea to say "In Christ's name, please, be gone." or encourage it (nicely) to go into the light and inform it that it doesn't belong here.

If you don't want it to go away, well, just hang around for a while and see what happens. LOL.

Either away, it's a very, very good idea to pray and ask for Christ and the angels protection.

hey this was alost spirit that was trying to let you know something that he wanted to tell someone but since he's not the spirit that talks he will do anything to get your attention... whatever you do don't let them talke over you.... if you start to feel something weird that you never really experience before just SCREAM !!!!!!GO **** YOUR MOM!!!! WHAT THE **** DO YOU WAnt .... this might scare him/her away but if it's a bad demom spirit or anything that really gets you into beliveing ...well dojn't believe in him/her....okay if you ever feel that bricks or something is getting on top of you.... you might want to scream but noone will hear you... it's like if your dreaming but if you tell any doctor that this happen to you they won't believe it's a ghost they will say your schizophrenic.l.. trust me Doctors keep me in medication so that i won't freak out but as soon a i turn 18 i will hunt spirits,ghosts ..and demons just to save people's lifes... take care... whatever you do ...don't let them take over you...
