without a doubt, they give you unconditional love and affection 24/7, Only asking for a walk and food and a stroke now and then. When everyone is down on you the dog never is, always by your side not like humans. We are a very lucky species to have dogs so loyal to us because we do not deserve them and treat them poorly. Dogs are good for you too, great for stress and anxiety sufferers a true friend who is not ageist, sexist or prejudice in any way. They will defend you till the end.

I don't know if everyone or even most everyone would call them the best. It depends on your tastes of animals. I like cats better because they are more calm and will lay by you when they're tired. I like dogs, but not as much, because dogs are very playful and can jump all over you sometimes. It seems like they always want to play. But this is just my opinion.

Oh don't get me started on cats!!!!! Of course dogs are the best!!! I used to be a cat lover until I got a dog years ago! And now I can't stand them!

Yes. My dog comes when calls and is polite when people come over. He can come on family vacation and have as much fun as anybody. Cats usually eun away when company comes over. Freaks out anytime they get in the car, and are quite snobby.

99% of the time yes - loveable, semi intelligent, friendly and very cuddly.
However the other 1% (right now) as the adult dog chases the pup round the house - both barking panting and generally causing havoc, a hamster looks appealing :-)
Dogs are the best pets.

Hi Barry, I love all dogs and they are the best pets for sure.And i agree that dogs are great companion ever.You couldn't asks for any better.I have 3 dogs myself and they are my family.They would do anything for me.Specially protecting me,you won't find a cat doing that.

Yes and so much more loyal, you can find so many stories of dogs saving people, not many about cats though! Best breed, Yorkshire terriers

yes, why because there loyal and you cann talk to them and they know to keep a secret. they can even save lives . dont get me wroong cats are awsome for if you work alot and arnt home very often. Dogs you do have to devote more time in training but i would totaly get a dog
