I want to make some back ups of my films on DVD as I can't seem to find them anymore and my cat keeps playing with them. I want some software that can copy the DVD soI can use the copy and keep the real one safe. Free would be great.

You want something for nothing - don't we all - If you use a peer to peer program you can get most things free.
The best burning program I've used is Nero.
For software to copy DVDs go to a site called Doom9.
Another useful site is 9down.com beta.

I always use a combination of
DVD Shrink
DVD Decrypter
usually a combination of these two manages to copy almost any DVD

there is no good dvd burner software freeware...but to suggest, use Nero or WinOnCd/Roxio...they are very good cd/dvd burner...

try using nero, you can down load it free from torrent spy.com.....where you can also download movies,games,music,programs..
