digibeta, high definition, mini dv, film(35 or 16 or super 16 but need to be digitised), beta. it really depends what it was shot on not what is is put on to, it has tobe recorded at a very high quality to be broadcast properly, please tell me what was used to shoot the ad and i can help more

It varies widely and depends on the playback capabilities of the particular TV station. You should ask the stations with whom you will be working what they can accept and what they prefer before making any decisions as to format.

Most TV stations still use beta-cam or digital betacam.
