Think of everything that has happened to humans. If we did not have faith in our ability to succeed, then we lose. Faith does not have to be defined religiously, but can merely be said to believe in something, such as 'I believe lead can be made into gold' (obviously, don't use that example. Lead can come from many things, mostly radioactive materials, but currently there is no way of making Pb into Au).

Some points to comment on:
- some people have blind faith - do not consider any reason; e.g. the middle ages took a while to give up the "earth as center of universe" theory
- some people use their faith to justify atrocities; many wars have started in the name of faith

That depends in what way you do use faith.

If positive faith is good.

In negative it is bad.

having faith in sumthing make that thing more important.when its positive its like god's creation.but if its in negative way its like lost.
