god is there in the person who helps me in distress. who consoles me when i am sad, who gives me piece of mind when i am tensed. who makes me sleep when i am restless. who gives me strength when i am weak. who gives me food & water when i am thirsty & hungry. who shows me the way when i lose it.

God is our literal spritual Father in heaven and creator of all things in our universe. I think we must unquestionably also have a Mother in heaven. How could it be any other way? If it isn't that way, then how can we believe we are made in his likeness? Where would that leave women? I am not just saying that for dramatic purpose in this forum. I truly think there must be much more than we know.

For me, it's not so much a "who" as a "what". I don't believe in "God" as a person or spirit. I believe that the earth/nature is the deity which controls life.

He is my everything,my reason for living the Life I have now he's my Savior,He's my God in whom I trust. My refuge he is so many things too me that I can't name them all. The one who loves me so much he died for me and this whole world.

He is more than one thing to me.
He is my savior, my best friend, my father, my protector, my rock, my defender, my companion, my heart, my master, my joy....God/Christ is more to Christians than just one thing...he is eternal and he encompasses so many roles in our individual lives.
