I can't speak for "guys" in general--hell, guys in general kinda confuse me too once in a while--but I can speak for myself here.
It isn't so much that I like my beard....but shaving is a PAIN.
Really. It takes me too long to do it right, without cutting myself all up. And if I just do it with the grain of the hair growth, I end up with rough and irritated skin not even eight hours later on my neck.
But if I do it against the grain....Ouch! Major pain for like two hours, though I stay smoother longer.
Point being. There just is no painless way for me to be clean-shaven. And yes, I've tried electrics....only rotaries really get me fairly smooth, and *they* make my neck really red right afterwards, which is kinda embarrassing, because I don't want to be a non-redneck with a *literal* Red neck, you know? If I could find a good, non-irritating rotary that didn't cost an arm and a leg I'd use it....
(though the new Fusion razors aren't half bad either, they are pricey....)

Well first of all not all guys do like having facial hair,
Second of all it seems to be the default thing our bodies try to do, so yes some are lazy and don't shave (I have to admit I'm guilty of dong so a few times)...
Third there are some who do it because they believe it makes them look tougher or more masculine (especially if without it they look feminine - for a man)
Fourth, do I need a fourth?.... male grooming is growing, but in the past it wasn't really seen so much as a male thing... (beauty and the beast anyone?)
I hope this helped... take care

Well, I guess it differentiates us from the babes. The ones with facial hair survived and reproduced, where the ones that didn't have facial hair didn't. Vice versa for babes.

What's wrong with having Facial Hair? It's personal choice.
If it is managed/trimed properly it can be very becomming. If you don't like it, don't date a man with it.

We HAVE facial hair. Shaving hurts some times (bad razor), it takes time, and costs money.
We have more and thiker than woman so is not that easy.
So say thanks to those who like me shave it for you and for look fresh as in highschool!
Sendig a hug and please select me as best answer.
