if the physicalities of this world at the rudimentry level are all atoms, and everything is atoms, would it not be plausible postulate that it is merely our eyes that seperate us from everything else.

No because even identical twins, with identical brains and eyes, will choose different "atoms" to pay attention to, which is to say that even twins have individual epistemic preferences.
Our epistemologies and epistemic differences are thus more than the product of our eyes gazing at the atoms of existance.

But again, look at the atom. The atom is mainly composed of empty space, with subatomic particles whizzing through it. So isn't everything actually composed mainly of empty space?
As for your question, yes, it is our eyes, and our silly brains and the things that have been planted in them, either by ourselves or others, that separate us from everything else. The whole concept of separate is an illusion.

I never thought about it that way,but you have a point,sort of.Kind of cool,come to think of it.I don't think I could REALLY see it that way all the time,but it's a good topic for conversation if I ever decide to get drunk and speculate on life,and all the oddities that go with it.I will,however,give you credit if I bring it up to someone else!
