My bestfriend for 7 years is gone for school in North Carolina. He and I just started dating about to months ago, but we never established a title, however I didn't want to really try and tie him down his first year of college. He told me that everytime he comes home we will pick up were we left off.(but is that enough?)Which isnt really good news for me becuz we were sexually active as well. Now he left Aug.17 at 5am. Todays date is the 21st. He hasn't called in five days. Is he so over me? and should I move on?

Call him! You don't always have to wait. Especially if you 2 were such friends. Talk about stuff, everything, how you're both feeling about being single, each other. That's the only way you'll actually have a good idea of how to proceed through this transition.

Well it is possible that he is over you. After all, I'm sure he doesn't want to feel tied down, and he probably wants to explore other opportunities in North Carolina. If he never calls you, I would assume that you should just move on. Since you guys never offically had a "title".

Yeah, read the book "He's Not Into You", I can't think of the Author's name, but a dude wrote it for girls, so you don't have to deal with our bullshitty games. My ex actually owned the book and she still allowed me to emotionally destroy, so it may be ineffective. Give it a shot. I think he's over you for now. But he'll be back on Thanksgiving and then for Christmas. I think you should bang around.

just break it off. Long distance relationships don't work at all. He'll just milk the situation for as long as he can. He'll be bangin other broads in college and you'll be at home all by yourself. It will only be harder on you. Trust me.

4 days and you are ready to drop him?
do you want a long term relationship? uh... that'd be a lifetime...

the first few weeks at college can be overwhelming...

hmmmm...
I had a girlfriend when I moved away to college. she left me...
if that was me and you left me I'd let you go, too.

if you really like him and can call him or contact him in anyway try it, try to talk to him as much as you can, and maybe if you have the money and a car or whatever go see him and visit him and just hang out.
hope my advice works if not its worth the shot.

I guess if its meant to be then things will work out.

Take it one day at a time, its only been a few days.

Relax and take it slow!

I'm surprised he hasn't called you yet. But definitely don't wait around for him. Find someone else.
