The dinosaurs went extinct about 65 million years ago. No one is certain what caused their extinction, but evidence points to a climate change brought about by a cataclysmic meteor/comet impact with Earth.

A large crater off Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula seems to support this.

Around 65 Million Years ago... maybe due to an asteroid or comet impact near Yucatan, Mexico.
