Business people support it for one reason only, they can pay them much, much, much less money. Mexicans support it because they want to take back the country they lost in the Spanish American War and they can make more money here. Politicians support it because they think they can get votes from them.

Meanwhile the middle class is being killed by the lowering of the standard of living caused by depressed wages. Every other ethnic group that has ever come learns English, but some how many Hispanics seem to feel we should change to Spanish for them instead. Just look at any ATM or instruction book, it's all bilingual now.

Many people believe that the American-citizen children and other relatives including spouses of undocumented aliens deserve protection.

George W. Bush believes that the employers of undocumented aliens deserve protection.

A certain number of undocumented persons may have a right to US citizenship. Tens of thousands of US citizens used to move freely across the Mexican and Canadian borders in the early 20th Century. This included the Tohono O'odham tribe (who, unlike First Canadians do not have Jay Treaty status giving them the right to live and work in the USA without visas).

To transmit citizenship to a child born abroad, a mother has to prove not only her US citizenship but residence for (then 10, now 5) years. Poor people often don't have records.

So: there are hundreds of thousands of cases where somebody may or may not be an American, nobody knows until a judge decides based on guesswork or weighing evidence and testimony. And there are millions of cases where families and employers and communities have an interest. People do marry "illegals" without realizing they are undocumented. "Illegals" do have children. Who, even if denied education and medical care, even if deported, will come back to the USA when old enough -- and if they are sick, uneducated and don't speak English will contribute nothing, go on welfare, or steal and go to prison. And cost taxpayers $35,000 a year while in prison.

Most are economic migrants searching for better conditions and life chances for themselves and their families. Unfortunatley illegal migration impacts on the status of the indigeonous population much like grey squirels being introduced from america into britain an all but wiping out the native red squirel.

Ignorance and laziness.
Since WWII, Americans have become lax in active support. They will do passive protests, (like sit ins, marching up and down the streets while skipping work/school, etc).
However this has touched most Americans in a bad way. We had most of our land and money stripped from us since the 1929 crash. What we did have was American traditions, crafts, foods, events, etc. and American laws. Now they are threatened, and Americans can do nothing, or review how votes were cast, and write endorcements to good reps and complain to bad reps.

There was a time the earth was without borders

They called it 'The Stone Age'

Try that bull in any other country

They have an agenda to legally defeat the USA and take it over using bad law as opposed to bullets.

Well I look white but my mom is hispanic. She moved here when she was 25 and overstayed her visa. she married my american dad and never got her papers. In 1991 I started to hear that lawmakers were going to crack down on illegals...even if they were married. I filed the papers for her and she became a citizen in 1993. Its funny that they were "serious" about immigration back then. Thats a complete joke. I think there are so many people whos parents or cousins are illegal and they are citizens themselves that they support it.

Are you a native American? if not, you live in a country that was taken from its original inhabitants.
I think you are illegal too, or maybe we should just excerise some humanity I will allow you to stay you allow them to stay, and if people are decent they will support people in need.
Obviously you are not decent in your thoughts or you would not care if some government authority calls people illegal when all they are trying to achieve is a better quality of life!

You know, there are many other things this country should worry about. Many of those illegal immigrants work hard just to have a better life for their families. you have to stop being so damb selfish and consider that many risk their lives in order to come to this country and work hard to provide for there children. Athough i'm not in that situation, its comments like these that upset me the most. You probably couldn't last one day in there lives.

Here's a few

am pro because I have seen the devastation on the faces of minors. They come over here from Guatemala,Honduras,Ecuador,El Salvador, and even one from Ethiopia, they were 1 was running from his father that cut him with a machete (he was in MS13) 1 who was sold in to sex slavery, one who's mother was a prostitute and his father was killed,. There's more but I feel that's enough. Not that I feel I owe this explanation the fact that I do should be enough.

For me it has nothing to do with who's doing what in order to benefit others. For me it's seeing that honest hardworking people get the opportunity to provide for their families to be able to escape from some of the horrors they face in the country they are from. I spoke with 2 people one last night and one today from other countries one who is in his home country and one who is here (legally) he speaks perfect English, both had similar stories no food not enough money etc. The one here just found out his cousin was murdered Nothing he can do indo drug lords is who they think killed him he was working not dealing in drugs the kill was for protection money(his protection he paid and got killed anyway). The other is afraid to come here it would have to be illegally but he will not He can't speak English and he has pride in his country but He's scared he would give anything to be here . That's just 2 I know
These are some of the reasons I've given other times.

And your attempt at insulting is amusing but no I'm not.
