SNug the collar up a bit so she can't reach it or just wait it out. It's annoying her and eventually she will get used to it hopefully before she chips or breaks a tooth! Under no circumstances should you take the ID tag off. I'd much rather she annoy me by biting at her tag then get lost and end up in a pound or lost! Maybe you could get her one of those ID tags that attach to the collar flat...a hole on both ends...no dangly, jingly noises to annoy her.

There are flat, oblong I.d tags that affix to the collar band and lay flat on it. That could be an option if the issue doesn't get resolved.

I just seen an ad in Bark magazine for a dog tag protector--it wraps around the tag I guess and stops it from jingling---it'd probably stop her from biting at it too.

Thump her on the nose every time she bites at it, but don't say anything to her when doing this. She will eventually realize every time she bites at it, she will have a negative experience. Take the tag off of her for the next week or so, when you can not be there to supervise her.

She needs to get used to wearing it. Eventually, she should.
But some dogs get obsessive about things like that. If in a day or two she's still really biting at it, try a dog or chihuahua forum

I had a ferret before, and this stuff was supposed to keep them from biting. It worked a little bit, but it might work better for dogs.
It's completely safe, but be careful not to get it on your hands and then get them anywhere near your mouth. It's non-toxic, but absolutely disgusting!

I noticed my Bruiser (American chihuahua) had been chewing on his body brace. He is OK with it now...it might be jingling and bugging her. It isn't shaped as a star or crown is it? It could be jabbing her.

Remember you are the master you are the only one that really knows your dog's reaction, so you should know how she or he will stop that bad behavior.

just leave it on her
she will eventually stop biting it
perhaps ... they sell a smaller one she can't reach as easily
BUT regardless you do want her to wear one in case she runs away
