I used to, at TV Centre in Shepherd's Bush, and the other buildings there. Most of my time in Current Affairs. Yes, it was glamorous and you meet a lot of people you see on the television; you can also be in the lift with a famous face. However, the pay was not very good - it was the prestige! All in all, I enjoyed my time there in different departments; working on live news programmes was very exciting as you rushed to meet deadlines and coped with a huge breaking news story (that set the adrenaline going!). It was some years ago, and probably things have changed since then as they usually do...

I think you'll find a lot more people are employed by the BBC than work for them.
